At Spirit Steel, we offer a wide variety of steel buildings and metal roofing panels to meet your needs. From time to time, customers have questions about our products and we would like to take this opportunity to address a few of our most commonly asked questions.
Thank you for your interest in Spirit Steel.

Do you manufacture your buildings?

Yes we do! At Spirit Steels, we manufacture all prefabricated buildings we sell. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and in-house engineering provide greater quality control along with the assurance we will be here for future needs.

How are your buildings assembled?

Spirit Steel prefabricated buildings are bolt-together structures. Holes are punched and bolts are used to erect the framework allowing for ease of construction which will equate to time and money savings.

Why is it important to check my local building codes?

Most counties and city governments have codes and specifications governing construction in their areas. It is important to understand local requirements to be able to obtain proper permits for construction of your Spirit Steel building.

How can I get a quote on a building?

You can contact us any time through mail or social media and we will quote you regarding your project.

Is it true that metal roofs attract lightning during a storm?

No, lightning generally strikes the tallest object and may strike any object – not exclusively metal. An advantage is that metal roofs won’t burn if struck because they are non-combustible.

Are metal roofs noisy in rainstorms?

Installed properly above an insulated attic, metal roofing makes no more noise than a traditional composition roof.

Why should I choose a metal roof for my home?

Metal roofing is much more durable than other types of roofing materials, with a very long life expectancy. Metal roofs are also low maintenance, energy efficient and available in many designer colors.

Does Spirit sell directly to homeowners?

Absolutely. We welcome every homeowner to visit Spirit Steel so we can work directly with you to design and manufacture your very own metal roof..
